Grilled shrimp


Servings: Makes a pound of shrimp

Prep Time: 3 hours

Cook Time: 10 minutes


Grill Seasoning

  • 4 tsp Kosher salt (that's 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp)
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp thyme dry, ground
  • 1 tsp cardamom ground
  • 1 tsp allspice ground
  • 1 tsp black pepper ground
  • Everything Else

  • 1 lb Shrimp Thawed if frozen, shell-on.
  • 8 bamboo skewers Soak 'em in H2O for at least 3 hrs before using.
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • Instructions: Toss shrimp with 2 heaping Tbsp of grill seasoning per pound and let the flavors mingle in a sealed container in the 'fridge for 2-3 hours. When ready to cook, skewer 'em up , drizzle with oil, and grill on high 1-2 minutes per side or until the shells turn pink, and the flesh is just opaque.

    Notes: The grill seasoning is swell on chicken as well.
