Ingredients:

Cold Brewed Coffee

  • 12oz French Press (You want a "3 cup press" - It's the small one.)
  • 1/4 cup ground coffee (Pick your fav.)
  • 8 fluid oz water (Filtered would be good here.)
  • Demerara Syrup

  • 1 cup demerara sugar
  • 8 fluid oz water (That's a cup too.)
  • The Cocktail Proper

  • 2 fluid oz Irish whiskey
  • 4 fluid oz cold brewed coffee
  • 2 fluid oz half and half
  • 1 fluid oz demerara sugar syrup

    Ingredients:

    The Seasoning

  • 1 tsp pickling salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ancho chile powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander Ground.
  • 1/2 tsp fine-grain raw sugar (Plain ol' refined sugar is fine too.)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (Fresh ground.)
  • 1/4 tsp True Lime crystallized lime (Two packets' worth.)

  • 4 sweet corn ears (On the cob, duh.)
  • 2 Tbsps extra virgin sunflower oil (Olive oil will do too.)

  • 1 cup steel cut oats (a.k.a. "pin" oats.)
  • 24 fluid oz water (That's 3 cups.)
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 Tbsps dehydrated minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 2 cups frozen peas (Not quite all of a 12 oz bag.)

  • 1 lb cauliflower (About half a head; cut into 5/8in thick slices
  • 2 Tbsps olive oil (Give or take a Tbsp.)
  • 1/2 yellow onion Medium-sized; diced.
  • 1 tsp Kosher alt
  • 1 tsp curry powder (Fwiw, I had the "majaraja" variety.)
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne or crushed red chile (Optional if your curry powder isn't hot.)
  • Lime Wedged; for garnish.

    Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Bainter Sunflower Oil (That's 8 fl oz.)
  • 3/4 cup sugar (7 oz by weight.)
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar (Packed; 6 oz by weight.)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs (Room temperature eggs are probably best.)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (6.25 oz by weight.)
  • 1 cup whole white wheat flour (5 oz by weight.)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 oz by weight; or more if you like.)
  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds (2.5 oz by weight - Do I even need to mention these need to be shelled?)

    Ingredients:

    Mint Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 oz fresh mint (1 large sprig or ~ 24 medium sized leaves - having the stems would be better though.)
  • 7 1/2 oz sugar (About one cup.)
  • 8 fluid oz water (Preferably filtered or bottled.)
  • The Rest

  • 3 fluid oz Bourbon Whiskey (per drink)
  • pellet or crushed ice (Sonic's ice is best)
  • fresh mint sprigs (Garnish for each glass; NOT optional.)
